America's Favorite Gardener, Rebecca Kolls Selects Midwest Rake Company LLC as Toolmaker

Seasons by Rebecca Kolls - January 1, 2005

Rebecca Kolls and Midwest Rake Company have joined forces to manufacture an exclusive line of gardening and landscaping tools. Kolls, known as "America's favorite gardener", hosts the nationally syndicated television show, "Rebecca's Garden", now in its 9th season and is also the garden and lifestyle contributor for ABC's "Good Morning America".

Kolls decided to team up with Midwest Rake because she loves the company's product lines. "I wanted a company that offers excellent craftsmanship and who understands the needs of people like me who just love getting their hands dirty," Kolls said. "Their line of tools is solid, durable and easy to use. I also love that the products are made right here in the United States," added Kolls.

This partnership comes about as Kolls is developing her brand, "Seasons by Rebecca Kolls." Kolls expects to have 200 hand-picked products available by 2005 on her web site and in a variety of stores across the country. She tests and uses all the products that carry the "Seasons" brand. "I've wasted so much money on product that either doesn't work or doesn't live up to the promises made by the vendor. I wanted to help consumers by shopping for them. I'm trying to find the best product on the market. I test and actually use the product...if it passes the rigors of my use, it's worthy of the "Seasons" brand."

Jeff Plank, Executive Vice President of Midwest Rake Company added, "The Midwest Rake focus is on real "value"; that sometimes elusive mixture of quality, durability, price and customer focus...and tools that are worth cleaning. Rebecca believes our products and capabilities are a great match with her passion to support the growing number of serious home gardeners / landscapers with a variety of new, multi-functional, and reliable tools, as well as her desire to offer "Tools for Life"."
