The Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) and Midwest Rake Company have joined forces to supply ASA members with a line of top quality field maintenance equipment.
"ASA is proud to have Midwest Rake Company as the Official Tool Provider for the Association," said Ron Radigonda, ASA's Executive Director. "They have a long history of providing top-notch equipment to recreation departments and sports facilities across the United States and around the world. We also look forward to creating a special pricing program for all of our local associations and member leagues so that our players can have a more enjoyable experience while they are playing the game."
"It is an honor to be selected as the Official Tool Provider for the ASA," said Todd Sandbakken, Midwest Rake Company's National Sales Director. "Our commitment to quality construction and lasting value is rewarded each time a quality venue or association such as the ASA selects and endorses the tools of Midwest Rake not only for the Hall of Fame Complex, but for member leagues use as well. We are very pleased and excited about this partnership with ASA and look forward to sharing in the support of a great game and "fields of play" across the country; for our "tools-in-use" are the true face of our company."
The Amateur Softball Association, founded in 1933, is the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States and a member of the United States Olympic Committee. The ASA has become one of the nation's largest sports organizations and now sanctions competition in every state through a network of 88 local associations. The ASA has grown from a few hundred teams in its early days to over 240,000 teams today, representing a membership of more than three million.
